License to Chill

License to Chill is a 34' Mainship trawler. With her single engine, she can be a real challenge to get into her slip. Corner units catch the platform as she approaches. Inside units help line her up, and the rear units catch her at the back of the slip, and offer a safe way on and off the boat.

Knotty But Nice

Knotty But Nice is a 36' Rinker Express Cruiser on Lake Alatoona, in Georgia. The Captain of this vessell used corner and rear units to protect the boat when docking, and offer easy on/off access to the boat via the swim platform.

Spring Loaded Corner Units

There's no way this boat can touch the dock when entering. Even on the windiest of days, this owner doesn't worry about damaging the boat and can just focus on driving the boat.

The Boat Saver Handle

The handle is part of the BoatSaver rear spring units, making boarding from a swim platform easier and more safe.

Spring Close-up

Here's a close-up shot of the spring assembly. Epoxy dipped steel springs are encased in galvanized steel tubes.

Corner Unit, with Coil Springs

The corner units extend at a 45 degree angle into your slip, catching your boat before you get to the dock.

Side View of Slip

Here's a side shot of a slip with Boat Guard's inside units protecting the dock.

Slips equipped with Boat Savers are more attractive, eliminating the need for the fenders of all descriptions hanging all over the dock, that still don't offer adequate protection.

Close up of Side Unit

Notice how our inside units extend all the way down to the water, so boats with low swim platforms are protected from top to bottom of their shear line.

Another Side View

This one showing the profile of the slip, up to the corner unit at the slip entrance.

Corner Oops!

Go ahead, hit them! They're made to be bumped as you line the boat up with the slip.

Rear Oops!

Our rear units are spring loaded as well, preventing damage when reaching the back of the slip.

Marine Innovation at the Atlanta Boat Show

At times we clogged the isle with folks stopping by to see the system.

Toby the Tow Boat!

Toby, the BoatUS Tow Boat checks out the rollers! Toby visited us at the Atlanta Boat show, and hit the rollers at several angles to satisfy himself that they were completely effective at keeping him safe when approaching his slip. He left smiling......
